Christ 4 Responders

A Ministry of Compassion Church of Katy

When I go on scene I usually catch an empty seat on an engine. In fact I often ride on the engines in parades and other P.R. type events. My department actually prefers it this way.

My question to the distinguished group of chaplains we have here is, Where do YOU ride ?

Yours in Christ,

Because I am also a firefighter I ride or even drive one of the pumpers if I am quick enough to respond to the page. I have also driven our rescue unit on several occasions. Daytime around here there are usually four to six of us that can respond so everyone does multiple duities.
For night calls I usually don't get to go along for rescue as all I can do is drive the unit, but if it is a fire we all go.
In parades I ride or drive one of the trucks.
